Once again: EcoVadis Bronze for Wipperfürth
POLIFILM PROTECTION MANUFACTURING GmbH & Co. KG improves its ranking and secures a place among the top 35 percent
The protective film specialist POLIFILM PROTECTION once again had its German production site in Wipperfürth assessed by the world-renowned sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis, and the results demonstrate that optimisation is an integral part of its sustainability management.
The protective film expert with its in-house centre of excellence for natural rubber adhesives has climbed around 10 percentile in the ranking compared to last year. As a result, the company has once again achieved bronze medal status, securing its place amongst the top 35% of companies worldwide and the top 12% of companies in its industry.
By improving in all four assessment areas, POLIFILM PROTECTION MANUFACTURING highlights both the importance of continuous improvement in sustainability management and the underlying holistic approach. ‘Sustainability has long been about more than just calculating CO2 emissions,’ points out Isa Onur Sahbaz, General Manager of POLIFILM PROTECTION MANUFACTURING in Wipperfürth. ‘The subject can only be successful through the interaction of different areas, as the teams behind it prove every day.’ Sahbaz thus highlights the interdisciplinary cooperation that has long been a factor in the success of the protective film specialist.
