Sustainability at POLIFILM Performance Films
Part of our everyday business– not just limited to our portfolio
As a specialist in film extrusion, we see sustainability, not only as our responsibility, but also as an important driver for the success and development of our company. Therefore, our sustainable approach starts with our product portfolio. Here, sustainable solutions have long since ceased to be a speciality and are now an integral component. Whether it’s easy-to-recycle mono-material packaging, film solutions based on post-consumer recyclates (PCR) or using raw materials from renewable sources and reducing the use of
resources wherever possible – our aim is to make film solutions sustainable and to support you in aligning your applications with market requirements. To achieve this, we not only rely on close co-operation with our partners and transparency along the value chain through certifications by independent third parties, but we also adjust our processes and production techniques so that they are as resource and environmentally friendly as possible.

Excerpt of our solutions
Certified. Collaborative.
We know the value of trusting collaboration. The latter is particularly important in all sustainable endeavours. Transparency is the key when it comes to products with a sustainable character. That is why we rely on external certifications such as RecyClass and ISCC Plus, as well as on close cooperation with partners along the entire value chain. And this not only at the PERFORMANCE FILMS subgroup level, but at the POLIFILM Group level.
